Prepare to improve your kayaking knowledge, ability, and safety! Our certified instructors are ready to teach you about all things kayaking to ensure your transition from the parking lot to the water is smooth, educated, and confident. Prepare for an active, challenge-by-choice day with lots of paddling and potentially getting wet. All kayaks and gear provided; personal equipment welcome, check with leader beforehand. Use of a spray skirt is optional. See online description for full details and registration requirements. Must be 14 years of age or older (must have liability form signed by legal guardian before attending the program). Dress for the weather and for swimming. Bring a change of clothes, towel, snacks, water, and any weather/water protection you see fit (sunscreen, nose plugs, ear plugs, etc.). Previous kayaking experience beneficial. Participant must meet Essential Eligibility Criteria (EEC), which are the abilities and characteristics deemed fundamental for participation. See EEC before registration.
