A television was still uncommon in most farm homes in the 1930s. Radios were the electronic media of the day, from music and news to serial adventures and dramas. We’ll explore some radio history and programming before sampling radio shows you may want to hear at home. Then we’ll create our own radio-short, complete with sound effects, for you to “take home.”
