Description: |
The ability to create fire is arguably the most important discovery in human history! Try your hand at using the bow-drill, pump-drill and flint and steel to start fires, much like the first people who called Ohio home hundreds and thousands of years ago. Participants must be at least 8 years of age. Program will be in an enclosed shelter, and then taken outside for fire-starting. Contact program leader Craig Spicer at 419-575-8074 or cspicer@wcparks.org with questions or cancellations.
